I created my site, Masters
of Nursing, to respond to the rising popularity of online degree
programs. As a nurse practitioner, I wanted my site to be a quality resource
for nursing students who were considering getting an advanced nursing degree to
get ahead in their careers.
Target Visitors
The main people who would benefit from the Masters of
Nursing site are those who already have a Bachelor’s of Science degree in
Nursing. As most advanced nursing programs require applicants to have some
professional experience in the field, most visitors will probably be registered
nurses (RNs) as well, or have a similar job in healthcare.
Articles and Resources
Masters of Nursing offers a number of articles and resources
about Masters of Nursing degrees. Some topics include degree requirements,
degree specializations, career prospects, average salaries, and information on
grants and scholarships. Visitors can also perform a personalized search for
nursing programs based on degree level, type of program, and location, so that
they find a program that best suits their needs. There are even links to other
Nursing Degree sites, in case visitors are looking for information on a
different type of nursing degree such as a Bachelor’s or PhD.
